Richmond Rasikas is proud to announce a Carnatic violin concert by Dr. Mysore Manjunath & Mysore Nagaraj , as part of their 2016 Fall Concert Series.
The Mysore Brothers, who stormed into the concert scene from a tender age of eight, have numerous awards and titles. While Nagaraj works for Akashavani Mysore, his younger brother Manjunath, with a PhD in violin, is on the faculty of the Deptartment of Music in the University of Mysore.
Groomed by their father Mahadevappa, also a violinist, the brothers have created a niche for themselves, with classical concerts, fusion performances and jugalbandis.

Richmond Rasikas is proud to announce a Carnatic vocal concert by Shri.V Shankaranarayanan, as part of their 2016 Spring Concert Series.
Starting at the age of 9, he has performed all over India and abroad and has won the appreciation of several audiences with his authentic renditions and resonating voice. An “A-grade” artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan since 2002, he has performed frequently in audio and visual media as well. He has won several awards in recognition of his talents and service to music.
Apart from his own performances, he takes time to groom younger talent some of whom are performers themselves. He is also involved with music organizations in India and Singapore in an attempt to spread the classical art form beyond cultures and boundaries.

Richmond Rasikas is proud to announce a Carnatic Veena Concert by Rajhesh Vaidhya, as part of their 2016 Spring Concert Series
Rajhesh Vaidhya was born into a rich musical environment. He inherited his indigenous talent from his father Sri K. M. Vaidyanathan, a stalwart both in Mridangam and Ghatam. Another beacon in Rajhesh Vaidhya's life was the Carnatic Veena Maestro Sri Chitti Babu. He is currently mentored by the legendary musician Sri L. Shenkar.
Apart from his blistering speed, his performance is distinguished by his use of electric and amplified strings. Besides his stage instrumental performances, he is also deeply involved with the recording for leading cine music directors and documentary filmmakers.
In 2001 Rajhesh was honoured with the title "Shree Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Aasthana Vidwan" and in 2011 he was honoured with the prestigious Tamilnadu State Award "Kalaimamani".
Within the Veena and south Indian music tradition, he is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing and technically beguiling artist.
